Is my mom nuts and what should i do?

A few weeks ago, my mom burned all of my books because she thought they were evil (they had blood, violence, death, witches, and vampires in them) and she is Christian (her boyfriend said that the only thing he would have changed about the book burning is that he would have made me watch).

My parents are divorced and I’m at my dad’s right now, but I don’t want to go back to my mom’s because I’m kind of scared that she might pour gasoline on me in the middle of the night and set me on fire because she might think I’m evil too.

She also took away all or most of my black clothes. I haven't told her I am scared. She hasn't abused me, but I don't want it to start.

Should I call child services or should I try to convince her to go to therapy? I am a fifteen year old girl. Next year when I’m 16 I can choose to move to my dads, but I have friends at my mom's and a boyfriend.

Any advice please?

It is not a great thing to have books about blood violence, etc. and especially not for a girl. It is regardless of religion.
Your focus should be in a different direction. I imagine you a feminine, kind girl you will become.
There is no room for bad in your life.

As for mom, she must be frightened about state of your ‘hobbies’ and mind set.

It is not right to burn books.

But she was scared. No matter what you think she loves you. She perhaps doesn’t know how to show you.

If I were you, I apologize to her, tell her you love her and you now understand she did it because of her deep love for you. You understand she felt defenceless and wanted you good.

Now, I’m not here to preach. You asked for help. And I guarantee you if do this all will go in your favour.

Child services are there for you to help. And they will. It will destroy your future with it at the same time. You don’t want to take that path unless you really need it.
Work on your interests, change them. You will have more prosperous life and everything better with it.

I wish you strength and success.
The choice is yours.
And you will decide your future by choosing the right direction. No 'Child Service' can do that for you.
