Hi,

What does it mean when a guy tells his girlfriend that he just wants to be close friends because he has other things to do and think about? He is simply not ready? Please help?

It literally means he wants only sex on regular friendly bases. (If you are in a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship). He wants to keep it simple.
Also, he likes you but he is not in love with you.

If no sex – it means he doesn’t want to have any relationship with you.
