Have I hit puberty? If not, when will I?

I am 15 and I have no pubic hair, but my testicles are larger than they used to be. My penis has not grown and I can't ejaculate. Have I hit puberty? If not, when will I?

Puberty starts usually about at 11 - 12. However, it may be at 9 or as late as 17. There is no exact
formulae on it. It depends on each individual. Nature takes care of it and we have very little or no say in it.

Same as all people come in different sizes, shapes and looks, with different features of genitalia, colour of hair and eyes, different habits, characters and needs.


It is hereditary and it depends on genes passed onto you from your parents. Or; it is the combination of family genes.

Not much anyone can do about it. World would be a dull place if we were all same.

If your testicles are larger that’s a sign your puberty is starting. Soon (that may be several months) you should start to see other signs of puberty.
In case you are doubtful it is not a bad idea to see a doctor and to ask his opinion.

But it is not really necessary because you have still time on your side. The downside is that your friends are by now taller, have larger penises.
But sooner the puberty starts – it ends sooner. For everyone it is approximately about six years till it ends.

That means you will ‘catch up’ with others whatever you feel is behind right now. Unfortunately it requires patience to see when it will happen.
No one can tell you an exact answer when. Only a guess. And that can be far from truth.
