Does she like me or something ? Or does she think I'm just cute ?

Okay so there's this girl in my class, she glances at me most of the time.

It's been like this since 8th grade (I'm in 9th now) because once I was at lunch with some friends of mine so while we were walking to the seats I started to stare at her since she's really pretty and she noticed me looking at her so she kept on looking at me a couple of times.

And now we're in high school in one of the same classes she sits facing me on another table and I guess she still remember me.

I'm thinking she either thinks I'm cute or maybe she likes me? I've never talked to her but I want to, so the next time I catch her staring at me I'll give her a smile to see what happens and how she would react.

Is this a good idea? Can you give me some more advice on what to do? And what do you think? Does she like me or something?

She likes you. It is a form flirting. Just don’t rush it. To smile at her is a great idea. To tell her ‘Hi, how are you?’ is a good start as well.

First conversations have to be innocent. Once you are befriended you can mention to her you would go to a certain place but you would like to have a company.

But it sounds strange, you are in the same class and you’ve never talked? Classmates talk to each other…

Advice is: Start slow. Communication is important. It means you need to learn talking to her in a relaxed way. About interesting (not boring) topics. What is interesting for you it might mean nothing to her.

The best way is to give a hint, spare few words and listen to her with ‘INTEREST’. That means you know what is she talking about and you don’t get caught not listening. In other words, paying a full attention.

Then you adjust according circumstances. There are no guarantees in life or in relationships.
Each has to be treated differently. Sometimes they don’t work out, sometimes they do.
Unless we try, we’ll never know.
