A different look into causes of teen obesity. How to avoid it (or get back on track) without dieting.
Some interesting facts behind it. It's 'All in the Genes'. Or is it?
Say no to fast food.
Say no to parents if they feed you garbage.
I've once read a very true statement:
Disease (also obesity) are not as much a result of genes. They are a result of kitchen.
Now, if you think a little, how much truth is in it? Can you see the pattern?
If you see obese parents, most likely their kids will follow the same path.
Most of us will say: 'Poor thing. Inherited his parents genes.'
In most cases that 'poor thing' is fed by the same garbage as his parents.
Chips, cola and fast food.
Do they cook at home? Then it is most likely wrong foods all together; or just a bad combination.
And when kids one day leave their home they will continue to use the same formulae - cooking bad.
This will assure their kids and kids of their kids will have the same nutrition. They will follow the obesity/health pattern with little or no change.
But it is easier to say it’s in our genes instead of looking for a real problem behind it.
So what is good? It is behind the scope of this site to discuss nutrition in detail.
In general drink clean water and eat as much green, fresh salads, vegetables, fish and nuts as you like.
Tap water in some countries is perfectly good. There is no need to buy bottled water which is much more expensive and in many cases not better at all.
Of course there are countries where you would get very sick if you did this. This depends on the region.
Avoid processed food and especially Cola and various so called 'energy drinks'.
By drinking these you are making some companies very rich and you are preparing your body to be very sick.
It is that simple.
No alcohol, no smoking, no drugs. Or; at least; reduce it to minimum. All of these affect your health and they also will 'kill' your sexual functionality.
Ask yourself a question: Is it better to live a healthy lifestyle? To avoid various problems such as heart disease, diabetes, obesity, erection problems, name it...?

It is better to look and feel healthy than reading statistics on causes of teen obesity.
